I just love it ...When it first came to our screens I watched the first episode and thought yes this FAB ..and then for some reason I didn't get to watch the rest ..
Then , EXCELLENT , in came the beauty of catch up ...and browsing through it one day i happened to see that they were showing both series one and two ..so as i am one of these people who hate having to wait for the next weeks episodes this was like seeing a twenty quid note appear before my eyes LOL ... i sat myself down for a Life On Mars marathon.
WOW !!!! Life On Mars totally blew me away ...
Ive since watched it over and over ..and it just gets better and better ...There is so much to observe .On first viewing you do miss an awful lot ...if not certain things within the story but the amazing music that accompanies it.
As a stand alone TV series its very good , the humour is superb ..but with the added bonus of a great soundtrack it totally finishes it off .A great trip down memory lane for us 1970's kids ..
Admittedly I was little during the 70's but i remember LOTS about it ...and when i sit down to watch this its like being catapulted like Sam Tyler straight back in time ...
Although the majority of it is politically incorrect its refreshing to watch something that shows us how mad this world we live in has become .Life on Mars is exactly the right mix of how i would like to see our country now.Now that is wishful thinking
